February 19, 2010 : Commonwealth v. David Nam : David Nam was sentenced today to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Nam was found guilty of second degree murder along with other charges on January 29, 2010 for the murder of 77 year old Anthony Schroeder. Nam was a fugitive for over 13 years until he was captured and brought back to the United States in 2008. Along with life in prison Nam was sentenced to another 25 years in prison for other charges including conspiracy to commit robbery. The additional charges will be served consecutively with the life in prison sentence. In all Nam was sentenced to life in prison plus an additional 25 years. ADA Mark Gilson is in charge of this case.
