Recent Verdicts and Sentences

June 22, 2010–  Commonwealth v. Craig Timbers:  18 year old Craig Timbers was sentenced today to 27 to 54 years in prison for Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Robbery and other related offenses.   Timbers, along with Ali Galloway, was convicted of shooting John Borschell in the back during a robbery attempt that left the victim paralyzed from the waist down.  On September 14, 2008 John Borschell went to a store on the 1300 block of Unity Street to get some groceries for his mother.  When he came out of the store the defendants tried to rob him, and when Borschell wouldn’t give up his groceries and tried to leave on his scooter, Timbers shot him twice in the back.  ADA James Hepburn successfully prosecuted this case.

Ali Galloway:  19 year old Ali Galloway was sentenced to 15 to 30 years for Aggravated Assault, Robbery,  Conspiracy and other related offenses.  Galloway, along with Craig Timbers, was convicted of shooting John Borschell in the back during a robbery attempt that left the victim paralyzed from the waist down.  On September 14, 2008 John Borschell went to a store on the 1300 block of Unity Street to get some groceries for his mother.  When he came out of the store the defendants tried to rob him, and when Borschell wouldn’t give up his groceries and tried to leave on his scooter Timbers shot him twice in the back.  ADA James Hepburn successfully prosecuted this case.
