September 29, 2010, Commonwealth v. Anthony Mobley: 54 year old Anthony Mobley was sentenced to 3 to 23 months in prison with four years of probation today by the Honorable Adam Beloff for stealing a World Series ring from a bathroom stall at Citizen’s Bank Park. ADA Anthony Nardozzi successfully prosecuted this case.
September 24, 2010, Commonwealth v. Victor Christmas: Victor Christmas was sentenced to 11 to 25 years in prison by the Honorable Charles Cunningham III today. Christmas was found guilty in May 2010 of Carrying a Firearm on a Public Street, Possessing a Criminal Instrument and other related charges for an incident that happened in September of 2009. Christmas got into an argument over real estate property on Wakefield Street. During the fight the defendant got a gun and fired it into the air. Christmas was convicted of Voluntary Manslaughter in 1980 which prevented him from possessing a firearm. ADA Mark Moore successfully prosecuted this case.
