October 8, 2010: Commonwealth v. Shaheem Willis: 19 year old Shaheem Willis was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison followed by 12 years of probation today by the Honorable Judge Brinkley. The defendant was convicted in July, 2010 of Attempted Murder, Assault and gun charges for shooting Jerome Sims, who was 12 years old at the time of the shooting in 2009. ADA Jason Kadish successfully prosecuted this case.
October 4, 2010: Commonwealth v. Richard Nagle: Richard Nagle pleaded guilty to Burglary charges and was sentenced to 30 years in prison followed by 10 years probation by the Honorable Charles Cunningham III today. Nagle admitted to committing a string of burglaries in Northeast Philadelphia in October of 2009. ADA Nicholas Liermann successfully prosecuted this case.
