Philadelphia – Stephen Greb pleaded guilty to Theft, Forgery and related offenses today. The 58-year old former head of La Salle University’s food services was accused of stealing as much as $5 million from the college. Greb, of Blue Bell, PA, enacted a scheme in which he set up fake food vendor accounts and authorized payments, which he pocketed for 20 years. University officials discovered the fraud last year and turned it over to authorities.
Greb is out on bail pending the outcome of the sentencing, which is set for February 22 in front of Judge Lillian Ransome in courtroom 1005. He faces 14 to 28 years in prison, plus a fine of $60,000.
