March 6, 2012, Philadelphia: A jury of 6 men and 6 women, and a panel comprised of 6 men and 4 women of alternate jurors, has been chosen in the case against Edward Avery, James Brennan and Monsignor William Lynn. The trial is scheduled to begin on Monday March 26, 2012 in courtroom 304 promptly at 9 am. There will be limited seating for the press, and the seating will be on a first come basis. There will be no standing in the courtroom, so once all seats are taken the public will not be allowed in again until a seat becomes open. The Honorable M. Teresa Sarmina would also like to advise the public that no one with any electronic device will be admitted into the courtroom – no exceptions. Neither the Sheriff nor the court personnel will store electronic devices for anyone. During the course of the trial the documentary evidence that is identified and presented in court will not be available for public viewing until the conclusion of the trial when it is moved into evidence.
