Rodriguez was identified through DNA, and he also confessed to killing all three women to Philadelphia Police on several different occasions.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Elaine Goldberg, Nicole Piacentini, and Casey Mahoney,” said District Attorney Seth Williams. “I can not begin to imagine the pain you are going through, but I hope this verdict will give you some sense of justice. I would also like to commend Assistant District Attorneys Carlos Vega and Bridget Kirn for their hard work on this truly brutal and horrific case. Thanks to you Rodriguez will now have the rest of his life in prison dealing with the consequences of his terrible actions. I would also like to applaud the Philadelphia Police Department for their tremendous work in this case. The city of Philadelphia is a little bit safer tonight now that Antonio Rodriguez will be spending the rest of his life behind bars. ”
